Американський журнал «Time» опублікував перелік найкращих книг для підлітків усіх часів і народів. Для формування рейтингу редакція журналу спиралася на думки фахівців літературної сфери та книгорозповсюджувачів.
На верхівці рейтингу перебувають книги Шермана Алексі «Абсолютно правдивий щоденник індіанця за сумісництвом», серія Джоан Роулінг про Гаррі Поттера, «Книжковий злодій» Маркуса Зузака, «Тріщина в часі» Мадлен Л'Енгл та «Павутиння Шарлоти» Елвіна Брукса Вайта. Також до переліку найкращих увійшли твори Харпер Лі «Убити пересмішника», Люсі Мод Монтгомері «Енн із Зелених дахів», Клайва Льюїса «Лев, чаклунка та платтяна шафа», Філіпа Пулмана «Золотий компас», Анни Франк «Щоденник Анни Франк».
